A session on the current price cap increase and strategies for supporting your clients.
A free online event for members of the Money Guiders England Network.
Around 22 million people nationwide will see their energy bills rise on 1 April as the 54% increase of the energy cap comes into effect. This is a very worrying and stressful time for many of our customers, clients and ourselves.
National Energy Action have been working to alleviate the impacts of fuel poverty for 40 years and cover areas of work such as training, policy, research and community based advice and support.
- Molly Chambers (Project Development Co-ordinator for the East of England and London for National Energy Action) will be presenting a session on the current price cap increase and strategies for supporting customers, particularly the vulnerable, in this worrying time. Molly is also a member of the Money Guiders Network England.
- Nicola McMullen (Energy and Environment Coordinator for Advice for Renters) will also speak.
- Matt Copeland (Head of Policy and Public Affairs for National Energy Action) will share some insights.
We hope to announce a third speaker from the network to share from their personal experience of supporting clients.
There will also be time for questions, networking and for participants to share their own experience of supporting clients around the energy price rises.
