We act on poverty, but we never act alone.
Our partner funders' support is crucial to the growth and development of QSA.
Support from trusts and foundations, individual supporters, Quaker meetings, public sector funders and companies plays a vital role in helping our charity to deliver a range of core services, whilst raising our voice and sharing what we do.
Over our 150 year history we have developed strong relationships with funders outside and within the Quaker community. Our funders value QSA's reflective approach to work that is evolving in response to need.
Unrestricted income i.e. income which the charity can allocate to priority activities as it sees fit, is crucial for maintaining our independence and our flexibility in responding to need.
"Unrestricted core funding is worth more than its monetary value;it gives organisations that vital space to think, and if necessary, innovate.
Our grant to Quaker Social Action is unrestricted so that they can continue to provide the best possible support for people facing hardship."
- Sir Trevor Pears CMG, Executive Chair, Pears Foundation
