Sarah Sidwell, hosting manager from Hope at Home, will offer tips on how to identify someone who might be suffering modern slavery, what you can do about it and what the UK landscape looks like in terms of support and protection. Hosted by the Money Guiders England Network.
On International Anti-Slavery Day we invite money guiders to an event to explore issues around modern slavery. This event will introduce participants to suggestions about how to identify a possible victim of modern slavery and what can be done. We will also look at the national landscape in the UK and how the government's National Referral Mechanism is intended to work. We will also learn about the help that survivors of modern slavery should receive and hear about how the organisation Hope at Home supports survivors.
