The Money Guiders England Network is run by Quaker Social Action (QSA), an anti-poverty and social justice charity based in London. QSA helps people on low incomes in east London and across the UK to seek solutions to the issues affecting their lives.
This session will focus on reviewing case studies to help you to assess, problem solve, and improve your money guidance skills.
This will be an opportunity for attendees to
- Bring their own cases - money guiders are encouraged to bring any challenging (anonymised) cases they are currently or have previously worked on to get guidance from other money guiders in attendance
- Discuss case studies - you'll have the opportunity to go through some case studies, develop your assessment and problem solving skills and discover new ways to support your customers/clients
- Learn from other money guiders - by getting insights and resources from fellow money guiders including tools that they're using to help them in carrying out their role
Why attend this event
1. To learn from and network with other money guiders
2. To share best practice
3. Provide a safe space for learning and peer support
Who is leading the workshop
Jez Smith, network lead for the Money Guiders England Network and Lucille Roache, a development worker for QSA and a business coach.
