Join us for an in-person event in central London. This half-day workshop, exploring all avenues, will focus on supporting clients who have 'deficit budgets'.
About this event
In this half-day workshop we will share good practice in helping clients to reduce deficit budgets. Where in the past clients with deficit budgets may have mainly faced consumer credit debts, today more people we work with are presenting with challenges to pay primary bills such as council tax, gas and electricity or rent. Starting from the base of simple budgeting tools to address income and expenditure, we will move on to look at both primary and secondary areas of spending and what guidance might lead to reductions.
As well as hearing from speakers, we will be encouraging participants to share their own examples of good practice, so that through this Money Guiders England Network event we all experience being part of a living community of practice.
There will be plenty of opportunities for networking and getting to know our fellow money guidance practitioners.
Please note that this pilot in person event is limited to 60 participants so please book early to guarantee your place. If you find that you cannot come after all, please let us know so that we can offer your place to someone else.
