NOTE: This is the event that was previously titled Money Guiders England August Forum
When: Thursday 22 August 2024, 10.30-11.30
Where: Online
Speakers: Emily Barker of 4in10 (London's Child Poverty Network) will share insights from their report earlier this year - Make Childcare Make Sense for families on low incomes in London.
Ruth Talbot from Save the Children UK
What is the event about?
This event will cover Childcare Support. It can be complex and there are different threads to pick up and understand. We will hear from a speaker who can explain the different aspects of childcare and where people get help. We will also hear from a speaker with a policy side perspective on how things are and could be.
We will be joined by one or more speakers who will share insights into aspects of a subject which involves some kind(s) of money guidance and we will use this to have a discussion about the money guidance aspects and learn how different practitioners work with such subjects. This month, the primary focus of our discussion will be childcare, costs and support.
Who should attend?
Anyone who gives any kind of money guidance and is interested in discussing current issues around money guidance. In addition, this forum may be of interest to any money guiders interested in childcare, costs and support issues.
