Help us to continue having a big impact locally and nationally.
Small charity, big impact
The title of Quaker Social Action's spring 2023 fundraising appeal is small charity, big impact.
QSA provides 11 different services that work alongside people on a low income, straddling a wide range of needs and themes, from wellbeing and funerals to housing and homelessness. The intention of some of our work is preventative and some of it is for people in crisis.
We deliver some of our work locally, sometimes hyper-locally, in very small and distinct London neighbourhoods, and some of it nationally. Some of our services are face to face, while others are over the phone, online or via a virtual, national network. We do all of this with 40 staff, the majority of whom work part time, plus the same number of volunteers, who provide nearly 2,000 hours of support annually.

Sharing our learning for wider impact
All of QSA's services offer practical and creative solutions using models that can be expanded and replicated. We share knowledge with other stakeholders who serve those we work with, through training and sharing aspects of how we work, to improve practice for those who support the same people that we do.
We influence policymakers and the systems we work within, through campaigning, to bring about systemic changes that will have practical and positive impacts upon the lives of people living on low incomes and ultimately contribute to social justice.
