Gill works on our Down to Earth project as a development worker.
She has worked in the advice sector for many years in various different posts including housing, children’s centres and the charity sector.
Before joining QSA she worked for five years on a national helpline giving welfare benefits and family law advice to support single parents.
Gill has experience running training courses on welfare benefits for various groups, including being employed as a trainer for a Housing Association and by islington council's Welfare Rights Unit.
Gill completed a BA in Psychology at Portsmouth Polytechnic, and a train the trainer course on welfare rights with the Child Poverty Action Group.
Outside work, Gill enjoys being a member of a local book group and going to films shown by a local community run touring cinema.
