Supporters, staff, volunteers and trustees came together at Yearly Meeting Gathering to mark Quaker Social Action's 150 years of practical community work.
Using the occasion to launch the 150th anniversary publication, director Judith Moran and clerk to the trustees David Robson thanked friends for standing by Quaker Social Action over its long history of action against poverty.

Deborah Rowlands, Clerk to Yearly Meeting Gathering, spoke warmly of the part Quaker Social Action plays in the quaker community remembering the Q-bit through which trustees shared their exploration of how the 'quaker' name influences QSA's values and practises.
Launching the publication, Judith Moran addressed the ever present values behind QSA's work, as well as the constantly changing nature of the organisation's approach to working alongside people experiencing poverty in the UK.
