Family learning classes – structured, fun financial education for parents and kids
Made of Money runs family learning events which bring you and your kids together to talk, learn and engage about money.
What we offer:
- Flexible family learning classes, over 1 – 3 sessions (2 hours each)
- Fun activity-based learning to keep your kids engaged. Topics include:
- What money is and where it comes from
- Needs versus wants
- Understanding advertising and branding
- Available at a range of locations, for group sizes of xx – xx, age ranges x to x
Made of Money in your school, children’s centre or community group
We can deliver our award winning programme for parents at schools, children’s centres and community groups free of charge within east London.
What we offer:
- Delivery of Made of Money at your location, for a minimum group size of 8. Free to groups based in east London.
- Flexible content options, from 4 to 6 sessions (2 hours each), covering issues such as:
- Better budgeting
- Building your savings
- Understanding credit and debt
- Teaching children about money and improving family communication
- Exploring values and attitudes towards money
- Coping with consumer culture.
Holiday events and activities for the family
At a loose end over the holidays? Looking for fun and educational activities to improve your kids understanding of money and financial issues?
Made of Money runs exciting excursions for parents and children. As well as visiting an interesting London-based attraction, you’ll take part in fun learning activities to improve your children’s understanding about money.
What we offer:
- Free or low-cost money-themed days out at London attractions – previous trips included the Bank of England, the British Museum and the Ragged School.
- Facilitated activities to engage you and your kids with the issue of money.
