Judith is responsible for overseeing all of QSA’s work, ensuring that what we do remains creative, innovative and true to our organisational values.
She has considerable background in the non-profit sector, with time spent at NCVO addressing issues of management development and conflict resolution, as well as many years spent working with people with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
Over the years, Judith has taken pleasure in seeing QSA come up with unusual new projects, taking risks and thriving – she’s a great believer that working for an independent charity is a huge privilege as well as a responsibility.
In 2017, Judith won the Outstanding Individual Achievement at the National Charity Times Awards and was highly commended for Third Sector’s Charity Chief Executive of the Year.
Judith undertakes a number of different roles on a voluntary basis – she is chair of the Santander Foundation, on the board of the Open Wing Trust, supporting individuals to transition to careers into humanitarian fields and is also a trustee of The Equality Trust, an evidence-based campaigning organisation addressing issues of structural inequality.
