Since the age of 14, Anisa has been volunteering and working with a range of organisations and charities, developing a strong commitment to community and youth voice. After being excluded from school at 14, she used this setback as motivation to turn things around, building confidence and resilience through volunteering and creative opportunities.
She went on to study a BTEC National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice before completing a Business Administration Apprenticeship at the Greater London Authority. Anisa now works as a Peer Outreach Worker and sits on the London Partnership Youth Board at the GLA, where she advocates for young people and ensures their voices are included in decision-making.
As a trustee, Anisa aspires to bring fresh perspectives, energy, and lived experience to support QSA’s mission. She believes the charity’s values align closely with her own and hopes to inspire more young people to become trustees. Outside of work, she enjoys anything creative, and theatre.
