Providing good quality low-cost furniture for people who would otherwise be unable to buy it is Homestore’s only aim.
This means we’re not open to the general public and every penny from sales of furniture goes straight back into the running of the project.
We match this with money we raise from grants from charitable trusts, and donations from individuals and Quaker meeting houses. We look to keep our prices significantly cheaper than the cost of other second-hand shops.
"Homestore made a big difference. I am not in debt. I was able to buy furniture by my own money. I did not ask for anybody’s help. It gives me self-confidence."
