We are delighted to be taking part again in The Christmas Challenge - the online match funding campaign run by the Big Give.
From midday on Tuesday 30 November until midday on Tuesday 7 December, donations made to Quaker Social Action through our online Christmas Challenge page will be doubled.
This year, we are being supported by two wonderfully generous donors who will match every £1 you donate, up to an incredible total of £32,000.
Together we have the opportunity to raise £64,000 to support our practical action against poverty.
The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated existing inequalities in east London and around the UK. With your help, Quaker Social Action can ensure its practical action can continue to offer support to people living on low incomes during the toughest of times.
Your donations will help us to keep reaching out through our:
- National helpline for those unable to afford funerals
- Programmes to help people improve their financial and mental wellbeing
- Supported housing project for young adult carers
- Practical assistance for homeless and marginalised people
- Training and campaigns to promote wider change
Turn your £10 into £20, your £100 into £200 – for seven days only, online via The Christmas Challenge.
The Challenge will open at midday on 30 November, so save the date to see your donation doubled.
