Alice is extremely passionate about combating inequality.
She sees Housing as inextricably linked to social stratification and believes that for a person to reach their full potential they must have a stable and safe base. Alice currently works in Westminster City Council’s Housing Department and her role primarily focuses on households living in temporary accommodation. She has previously worked for the homelessness charity, Centrepoint, as a manager in one of their hostels.
Alice is not a Quaker herself but notes how closely the Quaker values of Equality and Justice, Truth and Integrity, Simplicity and Sustainability and Peace, align to her own.
Alice first came to know QSA as a volunteer on the Move On Up project.
