Liam manages the Big Local programme for the Aberfeldy estate in Poplar, a resident-led initiative to invest £1 million of Lottery money over 10 years for the betterment of the community.
He came into the role after working with communities in East London through his PhD in Geography at Queen Mary University.
He is working with residents to build the programme in Aberfeldy to ensure the money is used effectively and has long-term benefits for local residents.
New to QSA, Liam admires the practical orientation of the organisation’s projects, as well as the friendly and open working atmosphere, where all staff are keen to support and learn from each other.
When not working, Liam enjoys football, either playing in his 5 a side team in Mile End, or watching Crystal Palace with his Dad.
